Claire is a consultant at Bellavia & Associates. She qualified in 1985 and has acted for the elderly and vulnerable for at least 20 years. She is a widow, and lives with her two puppies, spending most of her free time looking after them or her grandson. She had a mother with advanced Alzheimer’s disease and therefore has an insight into what it is really like for the families she looks after when worrying about their elderly or vulnerable relatives.
Claire has close links with local branches of Mencap, the Alzheimer’s Society, and carers groups. She has run drop-in sessions for carers when she can. She has been a Director of The Association of Lifetime Lawyers since October 2010 and enjoys being part of its development. Claire was integral in developing the need for accreditation particularly in client care. She also represents The Association in Wales.
