We do not generally process such information unless you have voluntarily provided this to us, or it is relevant to your directory enquiry. Special categories of personal data may include information about an individual’s health and other categories of personal information which are closely protected.

We will only process sensitive information where you have provided this information to us and have agreed that we can use this information to deliver our service to you and to direct your enquiry to the appropriate legal advisor.   We minimise the collection and use of such special categories of personal data and only retain enquiry data for a very short period.

How we retain your personal information

We do not routinely retain any personal information about visitors to the SFE directory and caller’s information is only logged by our call centre to be reviewed and thereafter destroyed securely. Where we obtain membership or student personal information we do so in accordance with applicable laws. We will take reasonable steps to destroy or anonymise personal information we no longer need for the purposes we have set out above.
